The Gambia’s centre of excellence for the promotion and strengthening of the teaching and learning of Science at the Secondary Education level.
Mission
To ensure the distribution and use of high quality science equipment and reagents for day to day teaching in schools and for the proper administration of practical science examinations at the Senior Secondary School level.
Promote regular in-service training of teachers on new developments in the teaching of science.
Be a leader in the advocacy for girls’ interest in Science and Mathematics.
